Dreadnok Putrid - got the idea from a fellow customizer. Used some different parts as I hate having different characters ahve the same face.
Dreadnok pipe bombs - heh heh hah Dreadnok Sledge - from some old super hero drawings of mine but made for the Joe world. Changed the name to the thread here, really only like posting one thread for one subject even if its long. Last edited by poisonbladed; 01-21-2008 at 09:04 PM.. Reason: changed title |

I dunno why, but when I see the Dreadnok Sledge, I think of Kevin Nealon on steroids. I betcha the old SNL news reports woulda been even funnier if he looked like that.

It should say "whoever he is ordered to hit." |

I like Putrid and Pipe Bombs. I think the skunk with Putrid was a nice touch!

Again, this is some great stuff!
How long did you work on the pipe bomb bag? Where'd you get the Skunk from? Details, dammit! |

The Skunk is a full custom made for one of the panthers from zoo animal pack. Not sure the scale I am pretty sure its around 1:32. Added super sculpty and paint and well had a skunk.
You would be surprised how hard it is to find a 1:18 respectable skunk. Closest one I found was a 1:6 standing on its front legs. Blah - maybe for some Dungeons and Dragons dio but never for Joes. The pipe bomb bag is made from pleather wallet and the insides of a camera. Used the camera parts to have the sides stable to hold a good amount of bombs but without getting to large. I don't specifically remember what the bombs themselves are made from, but I had a bunch of each half. One half was silver so it seemed like a logical thing to do so I painted the other half to match, there by having a uniform color and no paint chips from figures gripping the accessorie. Bag took me about an hour - not including waiting for glue to dry. The bombs took me a few days to finish. |
