I have always admired custom work of other tankers and after many years of being a spectator I decided to give it a shot. This is my first attempt at everything in the custom world, painting, pictures, etc. I have spent many hours reading the Custom Tutorial Index and hopefully my work reflects. Any advice or tips for improvement are appreciated. One thing I already found I struggle with is painting eyes, I'm looking into buying a magnifier to help with the small detail work.
Much of my custom inspiration comes from Hisstank members Stronox, Ceraurus, Sneekpick, Ratfink, and many, many others! Thank you all for leading the way and hope you all enjoy. Decided to begin my customs with an update to Dreadnoks; Zartan, Ripper, & Monkeywrench. Picture 1 is Zartan with all white eyes and Picture 2 is Zartan with eyes. Felt like with eyes it gave him a 80's cartoon look and without he looks more evil. Let me know which look you like better. Read below for part list and each characters description in post 2-4.

Zartan
For my updated Zartan I wanted a ARAH/Sunbow feel. I finished him just a couple days ago and I am not 100% happy with him and will probably tinker a bit with it. I tried to fabricate and front and back body armor piece but it kept falling apart so I scrapped it. I plan to also create shoulder armor with a dremel. This was also my first attempt at mixing paints to create the maroon/burgundy color. Not sure if I like him with eyes or all white yet. Part list: Head: Retaliation Joe Trooper Body: POC Zartan Arms & Right Hand: POC Zartan Left Hand: Possible Marvel Legs/Upper: POC Zartan Legs Lower: POC Snake Eyes (Dojo) Accessories List: Hood: Star Wars (not sure from who) Chest and Leg Plates: ARAH Zartan Knife & Knife Sheath: 25th Zartan (Modded to Fit)

Monkeywrench
I was inspired by a biker gang drawing for this custom, I don't know the artist or I would give him credit. I finished him about 3 months ago and may do a few more upgrades to him. Part List: Head: 50th Snowjob Body & Arms: ROC Storm Shadow Legs: Renegades Cobra Trooper Accessories: Vest: Renegade Duke Bandolier: ROC Monkeywrench

Wow, your first customs...would of never guessed it. I love your take on them, haven't seen them done like that. Like youdoitimbusy said, they have a Renegades feel to them, which is great.

Very well done. I love the paint apps on Zartan's face..very clean. Monkeywrench is very appealing, may have to steal that recipe!
