LIGHTFOOT
I started tinkering with Lightfoot at the convention, knowing there was little chance he'd ever get made. He's not the most popular character, and is a bit goofy looking as well. I wasn't sure how to tackle the little robot he came with, but lucky for me JMan had just started making some stuff with his 3D printer that I liked, and got one made for me and this custom. I added the antenna on the top, the paint and stickers. The handheld piece with the knobs and the unit are both 3D prints by him! It helped out immensely. I didn't want to use the vintage helmet, so I modded a retaliation Cobra helmet with some spy troops tunnel rat goggles, some silencer parts for the top, and some scrap to build the helmet up in the back. I painted him up to closer match the card art, and the Impel art from the trading cards. I went with the other remote attached to the belt going under his arm instead of over his shoulder, as I didn't like the way it looked over the shoulder. The vest also needed to be changed, as a bomb diffuser guy probably wouldn't have grenades strapped to his chest. I went with an armored look, modded from Cpt. America webgear and Airtight. The drone is a 3d cast from D&J toys, which I didn't know at the time, but the robot arm for the drone fell out of the package, so the drone actually is supposed to have an arm to pick up bombs. Hope you like it! |

I really like this. It's different, yet instantly recognizable as Lightfoot. Plus I love that you made a new helmet instead of just using the original one. Really great work.
