When I saw the new MU Thunderstrike, I knew I'd finally found a new head for a PoC-style V1 Rock 'n' Roll. I clipped off the pony tail and put the head on the Rock's torso with the different legs so he's not quite as gigantic. The nuisance was that stupid Arashikage tattoo on his arm. Since the forearms themselves are painted too, you wind up exposing the black plastic underneath. The color matching isn't great but looks better irl - the camera flash makes it look worse.

Nice!!! Where did you find the MU Thunderstrike? I don't remember seeing that at TRU. Also, is that a custom bandolier?

The bandolier is just one of the many ammo belts from someone that I glued on. Obviously it limits the torso articulation a little, but not as much as you might think. |

Yeah - I have a feeling there will be lots of clipped pony tails!

For a character like Rock n Roll, I would have liked to see how he looked with the ponytail. As for the Arashikage Tat, you could paint over it with a new tat

As for the tat, I'm tempted to get Cobrastickers tatoo set, but the forearms are so veiny I don't know that they'd stick very well. |

Just FYI for the future,
If you are trying to get rid of some of the painted on tattoos on a painted arm like Roadblocks, just use some Nail Polish Remover and a Qtip and apply MINIMAL pressure. The solvent will take the top layers off first. Red does have a tendency to smear, but not as bad as you would think. And keep some paints aside incase of touch ups. Keep up the good work! |
