Yes! Been looking forward to this beast. Nice work, I love the remote guided missiles. Is that a laser weapon located in the back pod?

There are parts that I would like to design and make them sturdy. Styrene simply wouldn't resist the stress. I am curious about that method you just mentioned for the tail I will check out your wip pictures in detail to see what you did. Any method on making something sturdy is of great interest bro! Thank you so much for sharing all this man, it is amazing! |

Amazing, I'm blown away by this custom. I'm getting a USCM's Dropship had a baby with a WWII Flying Fortress kind of vibe. Fantastic, this one gets a standing ovation from me?

That air brush truly DID elevate the ship. I knew it! The hull is from the clone wars xwing thing. Wonderful job on transforming it into this masterpiece. Can't wait to read the story because each one has its own substantial plot in the overall rebel angel story arc. Anyways, awesome

I would bro but there are a few reasons. The main one is that Encline and Zildjian both did them already, both Rolling Thunder Prime and Destro's Dominator Megatron...

Thank you so much for sharing all this man, it is amazing! 2) Yeah, to me, a 3D printer would be most useful for making joints. Joints for knees, hands, fingers, ankles, etc... That was always a pain point for me for my kitbashes. 3) Dude, use the peg and hot glue gun method. Drill holes for pegs on one piece, fill the hollow section of the second piece with hot glue, then insert the pegs into the hot glue. Hold it tight while the glue hardens. Once it does, it's a solid connection. You'd have to cut into it to break it up. The best part is, the hot glue acts as a shock absorber too so there's not rattle of anything. The only thing is, you can't use too much because it adds weight. Don't want to wind up with anything too heavy or if could crush landing gear, etc... Quote:
So the idea was that this is an anti-gravity armored ground attack gunship that is desiged to fly at low altitude to avoid detection (per the story part 142: Beware the Nightingale). So I thought that it could be some sort of rear and skyward facing electronic countermeasure device that uses a lazer defense system that can blind the optics and tracking systems on missiles? It's not lazer as in pew pew pew, gotcha kind of lazer, my verse uses bullets. Sure lazer technology advacned and they are dangerous in this verse, they could cause a serious skin irritation on an enemy soldier if it's consistantly pointed at one spot for about 20 minutes... Plus, after I attached the tail and added the base coat of paint, I discovered that the rear seat of this Star Wars Arc fighter must have been made with Star Wars midgets in mind. It would NOT fit an average sized Joe and it was too late for me to open her back up to cut out more leg room.... So, that's the real reason behind the rear view back up camera. I actually like this better than having a rear facign gunner. Now looking at it, the idea of a rear gunner is so cliche. Yup, that's what I keep telling myself. Did I mention that I don't really plan or measure my custom bashes? One must always remember to be flexible, etcetera, etcetera... Quote:
