Hey fellas. I've been doing these "G1 Joes" for a while now. This is the fourth one in the series, Nemesis Prime. I think he actually works better, colorwise, than the Optimus I did a while back.
Like the other ones, this is custom carded, but the card back (the front side) is a lenticular, showing depth (as opposed to motion - there are two different kinds of lenticular). Anyway, on to the pictures: Here he is carded: and the turnaround: There's more images and info on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/airmax.animated Hope you guys enjoy. Thanks .... |

Yeah, that's pretty cool. If I saw this in a store, I'd buy it.

Another home run man. These figures are top notch and this one is perhaps my favorite. Keep rocking.

Lintecular looks better when it's used for depth like the recent DC Forever Evil Vilians month covers apposed to the most recent image changing DC futures End covers.
Were the layers background, logo, figure image? Are the commander guns removable? |

This is awesome! Very nicely done. Really dig your G1 Joes.

Thanks very much guys!
EvilMonkeyPrime - I don't remember offhand, but I think the lenticular has at least five layers: background/grid, yellow explosion, figure art, logos, shadows. I couldn't get away with that much depth because the farther you get away from zero-point, the blurrier things get on the print. The backpack isn't removable - I mean, it was originally, but I glued it down on his back. It's supposed to mimic the smokestacks of the truck that the TF Prime has on his shoulders. .... |
