Well, I finally gave up on ever convincing my wife to let me spend $700 on the Con set a few months ago, but I've always loved the OG, since those early Marvel comics. So here's my take on them. Most of these are just kitbashes with maybe a little paint or work done to them. I also gave them legit code-names in Russian and their English translation. Most of the characters will be recognizable but needed new names. Also, I have an original character or two as well. Finally, I redesigned the patch for the team, reflecting the current Russian government as opposed to the (sleeping) Soviet one.

Brekhov needed a code name, and his file card refers to him as an old war horse, so that's what he gets.
Code name: боевой конь (Boyevoy Kone - War Horse) Head: Renegades Duke Body: Retaliation Wave 4 Firefly Webgear: POC Stalker Rifle: Zanya AK47

Dragonsky is a stupid name because it's so Americanized it makes no sense as an actual Russian name. The Russian word for Dragon, however, works fine for a fire trooper. Also, purple is ridiculous, though I did put a little on his helmet just for reference sake.
Name: дракон (Drakon - Dragon) Head: Retaliation Colton, repainted slightly Body: ROC Neo-Viper or something Webgear: I think it's Raging Spoon, but I'm not positive Flamethrower: POC Sci-Fi Backpack: DG Shipwreck Thigh Holster: Raging Spoon

So Schrage translates roughly from German to slope. I take it he's a mountain trooper then, so I took some big time liberties here. Besides, there's no East Germany any more, so I decided to make everyone Russian. Given that, I gave him the codename Mountain. He's a big guy, and an altitude troop.
Code Name: гора (Gora - Mountain) Head: POC Airtight with sculpted cap and repaint Body: ROC Arctic Assault Snake Eyes Webgear: Retaliation Cobra Combat Ninja Belt: I have no idea MG: Marauders

Horror Show's code name is a clever play on the Russian word for "Good", хорошо, or Horosha. That's all well and good, if your primary language is English. But I can dig it, so I imagine this guy says Good a lot, and it stuck with him. Again, a bit of a departure from the original, but I like the results.
Code Name: хорошо (Horosha - Good) Head: Tofujesse cast painted by me (The logo is a decal I made. I forgot to finish painting it in.) Torso and arms: Slaughter's Marauders Low Light Upper Legs: Retaliation Wave 1 Roadblock Lower Legs: Slaughter's Marauders Low Light Webgear: Whichever driver had that Viper's vest Rifle: Fodder AK Rocket launcher: Fodder Backpack: Retaliation Kwinn

This is an original character born of parts lying around and a cool combo, IMO. This is Sorcerer, the intelligence and interrogation specialist for the team. What he does and how he does it, no one is quite sure, but he pulls things off like magic.
Code Name: колдун (Koldun - Sorcerer) Head: Slaughter's Marauders Low Light (Still now sure if I'll paint that skull cap Body: ROC Destro Rifle: Fodder Simple

OK, I love the old school Brekhov-like Red Star, but I have a Brekhov-like character, so I went with Red Star's appearance in the later Marvel run. Here, he's more of the sci-fi type, an experimental pilot and specialist in space-based missions, as he was in the Star Brigade comics. He also holds to the ideas and harshness of Soviet Russia, looking back on those days with fondness, thus the Red Star name.
Code Name: красная звезда (Krazny Zvyezda - Red Star) Head: Retaliation Cyber Ninja painted Alternate Head: POC Sci Fi (Just looks Russian) Body: Lift Ticket Web Gear: POC Sci Fi Zappy rifle: Some ROC junk

This update on Big Bear was super simple, once I got past some work on the head.

Another original, I've attached the picture that inspired this figure. This is Nanny, the team nurse. Very young and not as combat savvy as her teammates, she has an almost supernatural calmness in the heat of battle, which her teammates greatly appreciate when they need medical attention. I will be adding the cap when I get some time to sculpt one.
Code Name: няня (Nyanya - Nanny) Head: Tofujesse MU cast with pigtails sculpted, and all painted by me. Torso: Angel Forge painted by me Arms/Legs: Dusty (used acetone to remove the camo) Webgear: One of the many satchels Backpack: ROC Duke repainted Rifle: Fodder AK

Again, Stormavik was a very Anglicized pronunciation of this Russian word, that is actually pronounced Shturmovik, and is the name of a Russian ground attack fighter from WWII. So I made him an airborne trooper (which I think he already was). I was a little peeved when I went to photo this figure. I had a beret for him, but can't find it right now.
Code Name: Штурмовик (Shturmovik) Head: ROC Duke, repainted Torso/Arms: POC Beachhead (repainted the crotch to match pants Pants: Retaliation Ult. Flint Webgear: POC Stalker, 25th Arctic SE Backpack: 25th Airborne Rifle: Marauders AKM
