hey tankers , first time posting customs. these are some fist time pics , i need to work on lighting and over all better pics .
some are awaiting gear , some are just place holders, but i wanted to post them now to get some feedback/advice from you guys ... remember some need final coats , others are extra pieces thrown together to clean out some space . this is just a hobby to pass the time , i dont try to sell them or anything so im in no hurry to get certain parts . but i figured this can be used alog with my B/S/T list for parts i need to finish unfinished figures, so if you have something thats missing let me know . thanks, Tom Tom's Album: CUSTOMS / KITBASHES - HissTank.com - G.I. Joe

I liked your parts choice for crazylegs. Those pants are tough to paint half red half grey. Wonder what copperhead legs upper would look like. This is a nice start for your first post. Try indirect lighting, or outdoor pictures in early morning (pre 10 am to avoid shadows) colors will be try and you'll avoid "flash shine"

Lots of really creative ideas, but the execution is lacking. You really need to thin your paint, and in a few cases looks like give another coat or two as well. It's coming on either patchy or like spackle on the figures.

They are all pretty good.
My recommendations are to really work on your painting skills and take your time. Some of them look like you just glopped paint on them(the first pic's torso) and some look like you didn't use enough to cover the base color(On Kamakura you can still see the Cobra sigil from Storm Shadow's torso and some of the white). To avoid glopping the paint, put a little thinner in the paint and paint one coat to give you a good base. Once that dries(wait 10 minutes just to be safe), paint a second coat to give a good coverage to the base. If it needs a third coat, then do it but make sure it's thinned out some. Also, clean your figures before painting and before taking pics. Some look like they have dust on them and you wanna get that off.
