($5 to ship) hope it works cause its a good looking hat...if not there is always LJ's hat as mentioned below, or the Elite Forces hat if Atomic still wants to part with it...like Echo said, there are lots of choices Quote:

Like I said, I'll get pics up tomorrow (Need orange paint for his hair )

okay, so now I have four choices of hats for Cutter
- Lady Jayes - Elite forces (thanks) - Alpine v2 - Alyosha's (i supposedly bought the last one) I'll try them all when I get em' and post side by side head shots for comparison anymore ideas, keep em' coming and I'll try them too if I can acquire the hat referenced |

Well it got all icey and craptacular today so I probably won't be getting my paint . But here's some pics anyway of the LJ hat on Gung-Ho's head:
As you can see in the first picture the head comes out further than the hat but I'm gonna paint that as hair anyway. On a side note, what are all of you guys gonna do for the lower arms? I think Gung-Ho's arms are closer to the original's I'm just gonna wait till the DDP style Storm Shadow comes out so the arms can be closer to the same color |

that looks pretty damn good, aside from G-H's zombie complection, and the fact that the head (soon to be hair) sticks out like that only seems to make it more realistic...one thing, i'm not too keen on the squareness of the LJ hat...have you considered rounding it off?...about the arms, classic Cutter doesn't even wear gloves, so as i see it right now i intend to keep shippys arms but use some bare hands for him...maybe use some duke arms as classic Cutter has rolled up sleeves, albeit not as long as Dukes, but it might work...(pic for reference)

I've already pieced mine together.....just need a good hat to use (that Alpine will be perfect if it fits). I used Flint's arms (of course Duke's will work, too) and Gung Ho's left hand (he has the watch, just like Cutter had). Just need to repaint the guy and then find a hat. Also, I am leaning more toward using my extra Duke or Hawk's head. Gung Ho is way too round for Cutter's face and the 'stache isn't right anyways. I think Hawk might be a good bet (just need to repaint him orange and add that moustache)!

yeah I'm thinking I might use a different head and sculpt a stache on him. I don't know.

I'll repaint both of those heads tonight and post some picks either tonight or tomorrow. I have an extra Gung-Ho and LJ on hand for hats, but I think that Alpine might work.

Well, Here's my rough-draft Cutter so far. The hat is a little small but almost fits perfectly. Can't wait to see what he will look like with the orange lifevest on. He didn't turn out quite as good as I was hoping for, but I sthink the life jacket will make a huge improvement.

I really am like'n the long rolled up sleeves...all in all ii think it's a great representation, and I like that you incorporated the watch Last edited by G.I.Eddie; 01-18-2008 at 10:17 AM.. |
