This shoot was a long time comin'. I've had the idea in mind for months of Donatello scavenging parts from the Technodrome to build a robotic dinosaur to fight a T-Rex.

(I couldn't begin to guess why such an absurd notion has been in my head for months.)

Today, I finally got to make it happen. Roughly five hours of driving (round-trip), an accidental foot-soaking when the ocean surprised me while I was distracted capturing a photo (of Mezco Popeye at the time, not turtles) and a lot of irksome but mostly irrelevant issues along the way, all to find that the T-Rex's tail is so long that it was difficult to capture all the toys in the frame and maintain solid focus.

Happily, I caught some humbler photos along the way that I'm content with.
