I've changed out the factory heads with custom sculpts to differentiate the characters in other threads but, here, using the factory sculpts, I just made a few quick fixes and accessory changes to upgrade the figures.
All of the figures were designed well by the Club to be visually accurate representations of the original 12" figures on which they were based but, the Air Adventurer's chest on this 3 3/4" figure was badly disproportionate and mismatched to the remainder of the figure- so much so that the neck post completely disappears under the head sculpt. To correct that, I switched the factory chest for a 25th Ace chest and mixed a paint to match the new chest with the existing parts. The new chest isn't accurate to the original but, it accomplished a better proportioned figure. I also gave the Commander, Land Adventurer, Sea Adventurer and Air Adventurer waist and shoulder holsters. Last edited by Superjoe74; 08-31-2014 at 06:37 PM.. |

I think that Ace/snow job/barbecue chest makes a great custom base. Very nice.

Looks great! What waist holster did you use for the air adventurer?

Wish Hasbro would do a general release of the CLUB ADVENTURE TEAM SETS, I would buy them all.

I replaced the belt on the Air Adventurer because the belt would not align properly- the belt buckle set off to one side of the figure's waist rather than being centered in the middle of it: there is a peg on the back side of the belt buckle which plugs into the waist of the figure to keep it in place and because of the positioning of the peg and hole the belt doesn't line up properly.
I replaced it with a black Dollar General Duke belt. |
