CobraCrimson's disassembly guide with pics thread

I'm going to post my disassembly guides of the custom vehicles that I do with pics and instructions on how I did them step by step. The steps will start with the last pic and work there way up from that to completion. So step 1(the starting point with the completely assembled vehicle) will be the last pic in the album. You can click on the pictures for a description of what I did to disassemble each piece involved in the process.

If anyone else wants to post their own disassembly guides with pics for other tankers to benefit from(hopefully), feel free to do so.
I hope this helps someone, even if just 1 person finds something useful in these. Thanks for looking and I will be adding more and more as I do more custom vehicles. I will post links to each different vehicle guide here in this 1st post as I get more, that way you don't have to go looking through every post to find what you're looking for.

Disassembly tutorial on the vintage Cobra A.S.P. added. Should be the same for the Python Patrol & Crimson Guard 1st Division Sabotage A.S.P.'s as well.

Just added disassembly tutorial for the vintage Cobra Maggot.

Can't wait for the 25th MOBAT, I've got an extra I want to make into a CAT.

Hopefully others will add to this & it gets stickied.

HISS Disassembly Guide

1) Rotate turret to position shown & pull out.

2)Peer inside the open cavity towards the back of the tank & locate the two dark grey tabs. These hold the tracks on. Place a large screwdriver between the tabs & the back of the tank. Pry the handle of the screwdriver towards the nose of the tank. This should release the tracks from the rest of the tank.

3) Wedge screwdriver into the joint at the back of the tank. Pry carefully until the joint releases.

4) Locate the two oddly designed tabs under the nose of the tank. Insert the screwdriver into the tabs as shown & pivot the handle towards the tail of the tank until the tabs pop. This releases the bottom of the tank from the top.

5)Unscrew the screw under the console on the turret. Pry up. Use flat screwdriver to pry tab at the other end of the console.

That's pretty much it. The canopy is easy to remove & the track assembly unassembles itself when removed from the rest of the tank.

Thanks for adding the Hiss tank disassembly Prince of Fire & Thunder. That was for a 25th Hiss tank right? Not much different detween the vintage & 25th I don't think.
