Okay, one thing I'd like to ad to my site for reviews is also every once in a while review some customs. I always thought that would be cool.. Though I doubt people would just want to send me their customs to be reviewed without getting something out of it..
So here was my idea, let me know what you think. We have a sign up period and people put their name on the list. Then they all send me all their customs... AND I AM THE LEADER OF THE CUSTOM WORLD!!!! huh? oh wait... did I say that out loud? Okay, scratch that idea.. How about this one then. We have a sign up, say 20 people at a time. Those who sign up either make a custom for this, or use an existing custom. Then they send it to me. I review them on my blog(enter plug here )... then when I get all 20, I randomly mix them up like we did as a kid, close my eyes and match them up with names on the list and then send them back out to everyone. What does everyone think? The only catch is there would be a $3.50 "fee" just to help me send them all back to everyone(I know people might cringe at that, but I'm not making money, I'd be losing it cause I'm sure some will cost more than $3.50).. Sending 20 figures out at once and covering it on my own would put me on the couch for a while, lol We could just do away with the reviews part, but I really liked that idea and always wanted to also review peoples customs besides figures from actual companies.. So, what do you think? Post here let me know and I made it a poll to just in case... |

What kind of time are you looking at giving people to create customs?

I was thinking a month tops, Some might use a custom they already made, some might want to make a special one just for it.. so I think a month could be good, if people sent them in I could review them as I get them and it'd make it a lot easier on me, than rather reviewing 20 all at once, lol..

I would want a custom that scored similar to mine. for instance if I spend 10 hours on an awesome custom but then I get a piece of crap in return, that would not be cool.

That would kinda be my concern too. Otherwise I'd be game.

if all is fair in customs and war then i'll be in. I have a custom all ready to go. so basicly all we are doing is sending out customs figures to trade for a random custom figure of fates choosing? HOW CAN YOU LOSE!

Yeah i am kind of like a lost lover when I sell one of my customs. I would def want to keep mine. What is the benefits of seeing them in hand as opposed to pictures?

I would like to do a custom swap with The TransTorture and Jin Saotome. They would get one of my customs and I would get theirs.

That's why I was thinking the whole sign up thing.. that way someone doesn't just slop some gloopey paint on a Duke and send it in. With a sign up thread, we know up front exactly who's involved and their customs going into it... How does that sound?
