Already been done to death, I know, I know.
Here's mine. Since he didn't show up in the 7-packs, I'm assuming we're definitely not getting him for at least another year, and he was a pretty easy custom. Not perfect, but he'll be my stand-in till (if?) the official one arrives. YOJOE.COM | Low-Light |

I'd been holding out on making him, because a) I thought Hasbro would do him right, and b) I didn't want to use commando SE as the base, as I found him nearly perfect for it.
Well, I don't like commando SE, never did. The visor one is my fave, so I dug out the drawer-hibernating commando and painted his neck flesh, his gloves and boots black, and put a new head and vest on him. What's not accurate? I don't like that bigass chrome fly/zipper he had on his pants for the original one (or crotch belt or whatever it is) so I didn't bother with it... And he's missing that... leg brace thing on his left leg. I couldn't figure out what it was (no idea, seriously) and it looked like a pain in the ass, so I ignored it. The vest isn't 100% accurate, it's a tad big, and the boots aren't right. The cap's not perfect either, but I see Low-Light when I look at him, and he displays with my other 25th Joes perfectly. He looks more like Low-Light than Cutter looks like Cutter. Last edited by Mandingo Rex; 03-28-2009 at 12:30 AM.. |

Recipe:
Entire body: Commando SE from the original 5-pack Belt: Viper belt, cut from the vest I used for Cross Country Vest: Roadblock V2 vest, modified with cargo pocket from PP Copperhead, grenades from Viper vest Head: Indy German soldier head with bill removed Goggles: CP Firefly Uzi: Arctic SE Rifle: on loan from Tunnel Rat (TR is keeping a close eye on it) I can take the visor off still, it's not glued, but it's a pain in the ass, and I don't feel like it. It also risks scratching some paint. The head worked perfectly, the only thing it's missing are the ridges in the knit cap. |

Thanks guys. I think the legs are a tad scrawny, or the vest is too big... Or both, perhaps. Bazooka's boots almost work perfectly for the right look, but he's got those fused knee-caps which I hate. I like my Joes to be able to kneel with a rifle, and a sniper should be able to do that.
I almost think that Hasbro made those goggles intentionally for later use on Low-Light; they're perfect. I'm hoping we see him eventually. |

By the way, my pictures turn out like shit, but I also don't put a lot of time into them either. Haha. They get the point across, even without good lighting and a clean booth to take shots in. The colors look better in person, and they're a lot smoother too.
Eventually I need to properly shoot all my customs, but I never have a clean area to do it... There's always Joe scraps, paint bottles and brushes everywhere. |

Shitty pic's or not, looks real good man. Why the f#!k Hasblow did not include him in the 7 packs is beyond me. Again, well done.
