I got the idea for these around Halloween, they are somewhat in scale with Joes, They are the boxes for Lifesavers Gummis glued and crimped together, with old Zoid stickers on them.

It is Delta Ceramcoat, it is not fancy but it gets the job done, I have always used it, I have used model masters for some things, but for most things it is much cheaper and gets the job done.
The boxes are easy to crush, you have to use your fingers to pop them out before you put them together. Although, the poped in edges do give them a used look. If stacking them they are very light, I would reccommend building the boxes then sticking some paper clips or something through them to keep them stacked. Sometimes you have to wash out the "gummmi" residue as well. I also have thought about getting the longer gummi boxes the ones that are not the minis in the bulk bag, they would make very nice sized Missile crates. But I have no money right now. |
