OK just want to see if anyone has tried this and what kinds of results they've had and didn'tsee much of anything on it. Zartan's masks as done by Hasbro tend to cover the front of his face and then leave his hood et al exposed. Seriously it's Duke's face but Zartan's hood... who the heck is going to be fooled by that.
So here's my methodology 1. Pop the head off of character for Zartan to impersonate 2. Create a mold in modeling plaster or possibly a clay base - using release if needed because of course we want the original head back as unmutilated as possible 3. create the mold with a slight neck modification and widen it slightly so that it fits Zartans head 4. Utilize Liquid Latex in order to fill the mold<now put together with a pour in spot where the neck is so that it is one piece held together that can be separated after curing 5. After we have a nice skin on the corners pour out the slip I'm a little concerned about the durability of said mask b/c there are some sharp edges on this line of toys and also because at the size we're talking it just won't be very thick. Has anyone tried this and what kind of success or lack thereof was experienced? |

Just pick up one of your many extra Duke figures & tell yourself that particular one is actually Zartan in disguise. Problem solved.

LOL why use extra figures when I can have cool Zartan masks hanging on a wall in his office!

I just thought of something; I'd love to see Zartan disguise himself as Covergirl or Baroness or some other female. Think he could do it?

negative. it cant form complex machines, guns and explosives have chemicals, moving parts, it doesn't work that way, but it can form solid metal shapes.

If I remember correctly, latex breaks down quickly and has no lasting results. It seems like a lot of work for something that will rot.
