I can't find a better pic of this guy so here's a link to an auction for him. I picked him up over the weekend and though he might be pretty decent mod fodder. His arms have some restricted movement so he may not be able to hold a weapon with both hands dispite his trigger fingers, but his uniform could match the 25th line rather well. His bone claws are kinda lame, but they could be repainted silver for a ninja I guess. I thought he'd make great mod fodder. Then I found out he's a variant. Oh well, mine is already open. *shrug*

This is a variant? My kid has the same one. It's the only one we've seen around. What is the variant?

Not sure what makes it a variant. Every auction for him says so though.
And yeah, those claws are terrible. I thought his shirt hanging out might make for a good Chuckles though.

Not a variant or chase figure; it's just part of Wave 2 of the movie figures. I used the torso and legs of one of these figures to make an Indiana Jones figure. The leg articulation is a little funky with those ball joints at the top but it still looks better than the goofy legs from the regular Indy line...

I think the only reason he may be HTF is that he's not been released that long? Wait for more store saturation, and you'll find Logans and Wolverines a-plenty.
Variant my ass, that's the only one shown so far, I think. |

Odd, all of the ones I have seen have the bone claws on both sets of hands. Might have to pick that up.

Edit: Wait, you're saying that the extra pair packaged has the claws on them along with the set the figure's using in package? Or that they've been switched and the figure's using "retracted claw" hands?
