If you, or anyone out there for that matter, can answer this question with a "it's at this store" - I'd reeaally love to hear it.
But for now, nosaj23, you can buy it from here - micro-canvas |

I've never found any equivelent. It seems the only other application is for kids shoes. This could be why we can't find it at fabric stores as kids shoes are manufactured overseas.

it's a tighter thread count canvas that's used on lego sails. OBi introd it to me through his customs. He uses it for just about everything. The thing I like about it is it doesn't fray when cut.
I'm working on a SS that uses a lot of it. |

It has a wooden frame, and well, a canvas stretched all over it, like this: front http://www.aulafacil.com/pinturaoleo/lienzo.jpg back http://www.amasteespaciodearte.com/i...enzo-cuadr.jpg I use that and works wonders since is actually made to be painted. Basically like the glued fabric system, but works better. And is much more easier to find, and i assume cheaper too. Just take out the wooden frame. |

In my experience, I haven't come across anything that looks close to scale as with micro canvas. I have plenty of primed canvases lying around and none of it works nearly as well. I'll interchange between scrapbooking cardstock, vinyl, and this stuff depending on the piece, but this is by far the best.

its micro canvas because it is manufactured like regular canvas, just on a much smaller scale. Regular painters canvas is much thicker, tougher material.
Poor Obi is gonna blow a gasket.... lol |
