Dude...that is what i call a Masterpiece. I am so surprised that they never made one back in the day....I mean they made a USS Flagg and even better yet the USS Defiant. To me this is such an awesome part of the GI Joe universe. I mean it was basically the entire plot device of the movie. I notice you have figures (assuming Dialtone and Duke) with circuit boards in the pics....does it have a panel with removable circuit boards? I am not trying to say anything, but something you might want to think about is maybe adding lights to the Radar tray and maybe some SFX for when you insert a circuit board it would make the iconic SFX from the movie. I am totally PMing you about this. If you need any help making some box art for packaging please keep me in mind. I would be honored to work with such talent.

Absolutely AP, I will keep you mind when I can finally turn my attention to this full time by the end of the year. There will be a big announcement concerning this, that I can't divulge at this time, soon though. :P |

First I'm hearing of this. I never would have guessed the vehicle shells belying that thing, I honestly thought it was 100% styrene from scratch. What SHOULD be common knowledge is that most toy designers (including Hasbro GI Joe vehicle designers) prototype new toy designs from existing parts... it's cheaper and less time-consuming that way. For example, you can find the back 1/2 of a SNAKE armor on the crawler/gantry of the Defiant shuttle complex, as a former Defiant owner I'll leave that to all the current Defiant owners to find. Phenomenal job in Frankensteining together all those different pieces, and achieving an end result greater than the sum of its parts. Your approach is "canon" and, thus, makes this thing look like 100% official Hasbro product!
