So I picked up the new Resolute 5-pack today at Walmart (of all places) and when I opened it, I realized I wasn't such a huge fan of the Resolute troopers helmet. For some reason it looked a lot cooler in blue.
Also the little black backpack (ha, remember that song?) that came with the figures seemed to small for their.. awesomeness. I just used a few parts I had laying around, but I think it made the Trooper seem more "combat ready". I also really dislike that black "ammo-less" rifle thing they come with, so I gave him a trusty AK. I kinda skimped at the end cause I'm tired, but I have another one to do tomorrow so we'll see

Its packed in some of the Forces of Valor (Target IN-STORE Exclusive) Army and Marine figures. It's normally green or tan'ish depending on what branch of the military you buy.
It's kind of heavy so you need a figure with good leg joints, I put it on a Short Fuze from the UBP and he kept doubling over backwards!

Thank you! I need to go over the coloring on the backpack again, it was hard to see the small details before I took the close ups.
I wanted to try and keep the red/black theme going if possible. it'll be nice to get real model paint soon hopefully!

The equipment looks nice. I've been thinking about getting some of those Target figures just for the extras. That trooper would never be seen standing against a brick wall. ;)

When I open mine, I might have to borrow some of your ideas.
It was already a cool figure. Now he is too cool.
