i thought about a brighter gold but i didn't have that paint on hand so i went with silver.

i would do chrome finish but not sure how to even do that. i have aluminum duct tape that i've used for metallic parts on models but i'm not sure it would fold neatly on the face mask.

I used to use this metallizer paint back in the day when i built 1/25th model cars..I'll try to dig up some info...I have seen chrome spray paint at Auto Zone and Kragen..not sure what the results look like..

Well I started mine today. It's going to be Cobra blue though.

I did find that holding a Hairdryer to the tires for a few minutes makes them super soft and easy to manage off and on.

Thanks for your tips (and troubleshooting) it has helped me avoid breaking anything...so far

thanks for the tip. i'll try that when reinstalling the tires this weekend. with the long weekend, i hope to have it rebuilt and detail painting almost done.

I pretty much finished my project. I just have to order the Hiss stickers. I'll get some pics posted here today.

i just started the detail painting last night. thankfully, there isn't much to do on this one vs. the bradleys.

i will be adding cutom stickers to mine along with some of the standard hiss/cat stickers. i just wish ruben made more sticker sets for crimson guard vehicles.

i'm impressed! i'm actually looking for another lav for the future viper team i'll have. thinking of maybe doing this next one in flat black? i've alreacy got the blue bradley...

i will have a 2nd lav on the way soon, this one will be dedicated to my future viper squad.
should it be blue or black? i'm leaning toward black as i already have the blue bradley. or should i switch my troopers to a black lav and my vipers to a blue bradley?
i'd like to keep all the vehicles unique thus the desire to do a black vehicle.

i will also haev a bbi tank coming that will be given the mauler treatment. this makes a grand total of 3 joe 1:18 vehicles
