quick questions, did you take the tires off or mask over them? if you took them off, just use brute force or something to pry them off?
the front plastic slugs in the foremost screw post holes, how did you pop those out? Last edited by arch2b; 01-07-2008 at 10:39 PM.. |

You have a fantastic custom though, so weathering or not, you did a great job! |

yeah i use the same testors silver pen, but i just push down and let it bleed out on some paper, then dry brush in the areas to be weathered. this gives it a more accurate look as dry brushing actually wears the rasied areas first as in real life. paint/wipe will weather resessed areas and cracks/crevices first and wont look as accurate.
not saying you did it wrong, just to each his own. as for the APC... WWWWWWOWWWWWW!!!!! man that looks incredible! i really cant wait to move back to the states so i have enough room to buy some BBi type vehicles! i reeeeeeally want an abrams!

I might try that, I have not decided yet as I really like how it looks now. I'm tempted to get a couple of BBI Humvees and paint them black as well to go with my Night Ops Joe one that I'll have next month when my crap gets here from MN.
