Since I found Ripper and Torch this morning, I figured it was a good time to get back to working on this little project of mine:
Its intentionally rough cut and patchworked together. I figure that since its suppose to be built by a bunch of overgrown children, it'll probably be more like a club house or fort that's just thrown together. Granted, there's quite a bit work left to be done on the frame alone and then comes the detail work... mostly staining wood, burning wood and replacing the masking tape. But considering this thing is nothing but woodglue and popsicle sticks so far, well... |

That looks terrific!!! You definately need a front porch...
(Sorry, I'm on a comic kick tonight, I hope you don't mind the pics.)

Not at all, considering that only picture I had was of the gas station that had some kinda hologram projected over it from the 2-pack comic. I've actually got a lot of ideas that'll probably never happen. Heck, I was debating a fireplace since its suppose to be in a Florida swamp, how cold can that really get? But now...
But yeah, any and all comic or cartoon images of the Nok's base is welcome. |

You know, sometimes you get a funny look when you buy a Snake-eyes, or a complete wave of figures, or a group of troopers... But that look is nothing like the one you get when you're a 25 year old male and you buy 4000 "craft" sticks at one time.

Still debating a second floor... all the inner details, gotta make a roof. I think I will work on that fireplace. I found a bikes and babes site so I have plenty of "borrowed" posters along with some bands. I surprised myself by how well that Cobra Commander one came out.

That's the poster that 80stees.com is giving away. I just copied the smaller image and printed it out. That way it was already formatted for a small size.
