After the success of the Sgt. Slaughter figure, Hasbro worked out an arrangement with the World Wrestling Federation to license another wrestler, none other than the world heavyweight champion "Hulk Hogan", who had recently won his match at the record-breaking WWF event, "WrestleMania III".
Unfortunately, the Hogan figure was never produced due to contractual disagreements between the two parties. However, the cardback was recently discovered by a Hasbro employee. From the filecard: "To be on the Joe team, you've got to do it Hogan's way. "Train, say your prayers, and take your vitamins!" Here is a picture of the long lost Hulk Hogan cardback from 20+ years ago. Of course this is all just pretend, as we kids used to say. ;) I used Corel PaintShopPro on this, and it contains it's share of flaws, but I thought I'd show how it looks so far. I may eventually create a custom ARAH Hulk Hogan figure to go along with it. But that would depend on whether or not I can find a bubble to fit this card. http://img57.imageshack.us/img57/161...ardbackee9.jpg

Cool. It's nowhere near perfect, and the picture of Hogan I used doesn't exactly match the RAH artistic style, but it's the best I could find and overall I think I like where it's going.

Same here, man. That's why I'm hoping to make a custom one complete with winged-eagle championship belt.

I'd rather have "ThunderLips"
To all my love slaves out there: Thunderlips is here. In the flesh, baby. The ultimate male versus... the ultimate meatball. Ha, ha, ha. |

Make two, the face Red and Yellow version to fight alongside GI Joe, and then the heel NWO "Hollywood" version to fight alongside Cobra, lol! It's funny you made this card. As a kid, I just KNEW they were going to make a Hogan after Slaughter...never happened. You can only imagine how pissed I was when the Fridge came out.

GI Joe would always win, because as we all know Hulk Hogan Jobs to no one, not even Cobra, hell he wouldn't job to GI Joe either.
Eh Can't wait to see if you make a custom Hogan.
