He's solid rubber. The legs will pop off at the waist, but the upper body you've got to slice in half with a razor and glue him back when you're done. I can post a few pics if you want.

I think the explanation did enough.

Standard boil and pop techniques should work, too. Heat the torso up with hot water, or a hair dryer, or whatever, and pull the shoulders out.

I tried that, those arms are in there pretty solidly. The lip of the shoulder plug is wider than Joes, and I pulled as hard as I could. I even used pliers since I couldn't get a good enough grip on the upper arm, and the elbow rings were stretching out when I pulled. (I'm switching out the arms anyway.) That's why I sliced him.

Just in case, check the waist piece. It comes in two types: soft rubberish plastic like the arms or legs, or hard plastic (impossible to bend or anything). Most have a hard waistpiece, which complicates everything. If it's rubberish, then you'll have it much more easier. In any case, the waist will pop out with some effort from the body, but not the legs, the pegs will broke. You can cut from the shoulder, where the arm is attached, straight to the neck. It is more easier if you slightly heat the rubber. The cut will close if you made a clean slice, and you'll barely see it. Or you could cut from the arm down the body to the waist. The cut will be more concealed, but you'll have to cut more stuff. I couldn't crack open the waist tho, so i dunno if it's solid. I think not. |
