I'm really liking larger scale figures lately, so I decided to try my hand at my first Sigma 6 style custom. This one I've spent the last 6 months on, between other various projects. As you may know, there are no Sigma 6 Royal Guard figures so about 75% of this figure is sculpted by yours truly. The head is 100% sculpted.
I present to you my interpretation of a Sigma 6 Cobra La Royal Guard: Notice the detail in the knee-pad sculpting here, I learned a lot from this: Recipe: Head - Sigma 6 Snake Eyes head completely sanded down then sculpted over Upper Torso - Sigma 6 Snake Eyes sculpted over Lower Torso - Sigma 6 Iron Grenadier Arms - Sigma 6 Iron Grenadier Legs - Sigma 6 Snake Eyes Antenna - Fodder from random gun pieces sculpted over This is a battle damaged version, you may notice some of the cuts with brown blood on them (thanks to the help I got in another thread). Sorry for some of the blurry pictures, I'm still get used to my homemade lightbox. Cape and Stand - Random Spawn fodder More pictures, better resolution further down the page! And wait for it... Mayhem Customs Rocks!

Incredible! I shudder to think how long that took- whatever it took you would take me four times as long as I would have to restart so many times! Amazing work.

Thanks man!

I love the antenna, but I like the look of him without it also. I don't prefer the stand that much either, I need a flatter surface or he tends to topple over, even with pegs. Sculpting is a pain in the butt if you try to go fast. I recommend keeping your fingers and sculpt a little wet and work out as much as you can while it's still formable. Once it hardens, sanding is far more time consuming than just sculpting it correctly the first time! I'm glad you guys enjoyed, hopefully I'll be able to bring more of these types to the plate in the near future!

Would like to have one of these in the 1:18th scale.
I guess it's possible with the Club.
