Awesome! Perfect look for the WWII theme. Only think I'd add is a little hair on his chin for the classic look.

His card art did depict him with hair on his chin though and later versions had it as well but I wanted this guy to be just like the Sunbow cartoon version. The guy I remember so fondly from the cartoon who was a gourmet chef and would always rhyme with every line.

That is really really nice. I love the paint apps and the parts combo is superb.

Ya know, the more I look at those Heavy Duty knees the more I'd like to see the legs repainted into M42 jump trousers with the reinforced knees.

I considered that too. Nice to see others think alike. I decided not to do that because I wouldn't think that anyone in the 92nd Infantry Division would be wearing those jump trousers. But the square knees would make it perfect for that. I think the Bench Press upper legs even had the cargo pockets for it.

I think a man in the 92nd coming across a pair of M42s is far more likely than one (or anyone, for that matter) firing an M2 from the hip. Just something to consider.

Haha! True true... Wish I had a .30 cal. That would've worked much better. Anyone know where to get a 1/18 .30 cal.?

Great rendition of Roadblock as a WWII GI. Any other Joes coming from that era?
