I've been working on the ultimate Cobra Commander for my display. Each of the new Cobra Commanders have qualities that I like but they're never perfect. I took it upon myself to make one that looks like the CC we all envision... well at least hopefully. Let me know what you think...
I'll post the recipes later, I've got a few other things I'm working on right now... When you're done here, please go to this page to check out a few others I just posted: http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...tbashes-3.html Last edited by UMAN; 01-28-2009 at 12:54 AM.. |

I really like the black one.
It reminds of how much I want Hasbro to make some 25th CSG's.

loving the blue version, looks regal and bad ass!!
maybe you shouldn't be giving Hasbro any ideas about releasing another version of CC... at least not until we get this version, lol Last edited by mswi; 01-21-2009 at 09:56 PM.. |

Look great. I really like the boots and the other additions. The black one looks good too, but there's something about it. I'm still trying to put my finger on it, but compared to the blue one it seems bland.

Along the lines of a couple I have in the works. Very nice job. How did you do the gun across the chest?

I'm not too proud of the paint job on him. He looks better in person because the blacks on the suit are 2 tones, but I applied some areas a little too thick.

Maybe a little red would help. Difinitely a red Cobra on the chest, and maybe one on the forehead or some red on the beltbuckle. I'm thinking it came off bland because it seemed too monochrome. I hope that's a little more helpful.

They both look cool, but I'm partial to the black one. But, black is my favorite color so...
Great job!

So did you paint the pants a flat black and the rest satin finish on purpose? I can see now how it would look better in person if that's what you were going for.
