Thanks to all my time lurking on Hisstank.com, I know gunrunners is the place to go for 25th style guns. In fact, I bought a bunch of AK-47's last week and they are awesome! My question is: Does anyone make web gear that matches the 25th style?
I'd love to have some Cobra Officers with black rather than gray straps. I'd also like some brown Cobra Trooper web gear (like the Nightwatch guys I think) to make some decent looking desert troopers to go with my desert officer as well as brown SE/Stalker web gear without having to buy that awful "greenshirts" set. I appreciate any help you might give and since this is my first post I'd like to say that I really enjoy this great site! |

I don't think any one does sell webgear. Marauder John has the PTE vests but that's about it. Best I can tell ya is to bust out the acrylic paints. I've done that on most of the yellow webgear on troopers and such and it worked great

I'd love different style of webgears. Having to find an existing 25th style that works for what I want is pretty tough, especially if the figure the webgear comes from (Bazooka Trooper..) is only going to be used for the webgear.

Sure, you can paint them. But, I would like cast web gear as well. Not just in different colors, though.
There are a couple of places you can get it, and if you've bought from Marauder before then you might be spoiled like me by the price and service. If you want custom web gear, hats, heads etc. then expect to pay $5-$15 each PLUS at least $5 shipping. Perhaps if we start a petition we could convince Marauder to invest in some flex resin and make some great new web gear. He won't just cast Hasbro stuff though, but if he makes it I can bet you it will be affordable, useful and of consistent quality. It might even be modular.

Alyosha has some at his site. Well, he has the Short Fuse and Zap style. It will give you a different look. I think he is asking like 14.00 each for them and has them in both brown and black. Last time I checked he was out of stock.
If you just need some extra ones you might want to check out this thread http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...ve-thread.html there are some customizers who might be willing to give up some of what they have. Crankcase came with brown trooper gear so there might be people out there with some extras from their customs. |
