I've been working on these two for what seems like months, I have a few tiny alterations to make, but they are mostly done. I have Macs' hat, but I forgot to take pictures of it.
Someone else (sorry I forget your name! :( ) posted pics of their Mac custom a few weeks ago and that motivated me to finish mine up. Last edited by dropshipbob; 02-12-2009 at 02:27 PM.. |

And just for fun...
Mac is a stock 25th Ann. General Hawk with Arctic Snake Eyes lower arms and altered 25 Snowjob head. I initially decided to make him with his sweat jacket hood on so that I could avoid making hair, but I have since come into possesion of a second Snowjob, and may give it a try. I Dremeled his goggles down in the inside so they could fit over his head and the flamethrower is a repainted vintage ARAH, with a altered and repainted 25th Cobra air trooper harness. The pistol belt is Hawks while the pistol is from a newer Indiana Jones figure. The flare is a bit of tooth pick colored with a marker and the flare "glow" is from a Star Wars figure from a few years back. It's supposed to be a light saber deflection of a blaster shot. Childs upper torso is from the artic Snake Eyes with the upper arm pocket dremeled off and Roadblocks head, lower arms are from General Hawk with Roadblocks original gloves. His lower body is from a newer Indiana Jones figure and repainted. I plan to give him a flamethrower as well, made from vintage ARAH gear. I'll probably throw in an axe for good measure. I'd love to make all of the others, but I need a figure with a bit more "weight" on it for some of them, and there isn't any to choose from yet. So what do you think? |

I was the one who did the other MacReady. http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...ady-thing.html I like how the hood on him is up, It'd be perfect for a removable hat on him. |

Then I owe you thanks! And it looks like we used similar figures.
I was going to make the hat wearable, but over the hood, it would have been huge. Plus I got all fired up and made it one day without really test fitting it and then didn't feel like going back to change it. Do you have any plans to make any of the others? |

I don't suppose you'd be willing to share your possible receipe for Windows and Clark? PM me if you'd rather keep it quiet. "The thing was one of the best SF movies ever!!! PERIOD!!!!" I'm inclined to agree. ;) |
