Here is my best yet- the shock trooper from "V" and "V" the Final Battle. Why this was never made into a legit action figure Ill never know. Here is my take on it. Head is a modified '84 Scrap-Iron, torso is an '82 Zap, arms are '83 Tripwire, waist is '82 Zap, legs are '83 Major Bludd. Tunic made with electrical tape, visor made with soft record vinyl. Gun is a modified Big Bear rifle with added rectangular scope. Log emblem is home-made with Photoshop. Enjoy.

I dunno man. I liked that series when it was out but it hasn't really held up over time. I watched part of it again recently and it was lame, lame, lame. At least Buck Rogers still holds the nostalgic value even though its lame too.
The only thing I'd hope from this line if it was made is custom fodder.

The figure looks great, but I couldn't care less about an official line of figures supporting the movie.

I think he looks great. I love how the electrical tape accurately recreates the visual effect of a scaled leather tunic. I've seen the technique used before to varying degrees of success. Regardless of anybodies opinion of the series, it's a good choice for a custom from a visual design standpoint - at least in my opinion.

I always waned the ships and figures a kid was playing with in one of the episodes. They where Joe scale too.

GREAT JOB! I love that mini-series and just watched it again about a month ago wishing that I had the talent to make some of those troopers for my Joe collection. Yes, they need to make those figures with vehicles.....

That figure looks great.
I haven't watched that movie in a very long time, but it was cool back then. I'd buy some and I want the tear away face on mine.
