I purchased some star wars ball jointed civilian heads.
This may seem unorthodox, but I bought them to put on my army builders(eels, divers, and para-vampires) to give them "personalities". But all that aside, how do you do the hot glue gun mod? I looked all over google and couldn't find any info on how to do it. Anybody know how? Will I be able to transfer the head on and off? Last edited by Zoltron; 11-26-2008 at 05:22 AM.. |

From what I remember how to do it;
- Use some grease like Vaseline? on the ball joint of the joe. - Put hot glue inside the head - Put the head on top of the figure's ball joint - hold and wait till the glue dried The grease part is VERY important because it prevents the head to be glued stuck to the ball joint. You want to be able to turn the head and not to be stuck in 1 position If you want to remove the head, you will destroy the dried glue. So basically it's a one time thing and you can't swap heads anymore unless you want to redo the glue all over again. |
