Shockwave and Destro!

Just in case SDCC Monday lets me down, I'm not planning to pay 300$ for this exclusive when I can make it for 50!
This was done using Rustoleum's luminescent paint. Blue in one direction and bright purple in another. Metallic and 15.00 a can. You need a black base coat as this is mostly a finishing spray. The only challenge was masking off for the silver afterward, the coat is so light that the frog tape pulled the effect off slightly so I had to paper mask and re-touch. Knowing that I'll likely make a second and approach it differently.

For those who are wondering, yes, the turret will have the signature Shockwave gun tip...just have to find that part in the basement.

I like the results and in the right angle it's gorgeous, but out in bright sunlight it's just metallic blue so I tried for the best angle and light shot. More pics to be uploaded later as I find a right environment to take them.
