Great job EFC, there was plenty of variety in the video transitions. I just have a few suggestions. Please take this as constructive criticism and not me saying the video sucks, because it doesn't.
1. Try to use only one picture from each custom. It will improve the flow of the video. In the video I would see single shots of different customs, then all of a sudden see several different shots of the same Firefly custom. Then more single shots of different customs. We really don't need to see the backside and profile of each custom, just a single front shot is good enough. For any images split into three pictures, try cropping one of them and then blowing it up. All of this will help improve the visual flow of the video. 2. Try to pick a song that is the same length as the video. Or keep adding images until the video is as long as the song. That way the song doesn't come to a complete stop when the video is over. 3. A lot of people have commented on the pace of the video. Are you using a Mac with iMovie? There is an effect in that program called the "Ken Burns" effect. I'm sure other video editing software has this effect or something similar. Basically it takes a still image and moves it or zooms in very very slowly. That way all the still images aren't static. It makes for a more exciting video. |

1) Cool to see. Thanks.
2) I forgot how good Swollen Memebers are, thanks for reminding me. (Get your heads out the gutter, it's the name of the band / group from the soundtracks.) |
