Mods need to just shut down the customs forums.
This will never be topped. This maybe the greatest custom ever.

My God that is incredible!
I've been following it all along and was impressed early on, but I NEVER expected something that nice. WOW!
"Oh dear" said Pooh, as he punched the magazine release...

Jezones: The Wing mechanics not only comprise of parts including the swivel bar and hinge system but there are internal modifications for both top and bottom fuselage sections that must be done as well. After looking back, I realized there was but little room for error and If I was even off by a little bit this may have not worked. Lots or test fitting, assembly/re-assembly because the landing gear mechanics both in retracted and deployed positions had to be taken into account. When the time comes to work on the VF-41 plane, I'll try to take some step by step pics.
StBurr91 and Brice B - Your work is an extreme credit to this forum, you have unparalleled control with paint and I'm looking forward to more. I've only been here since end of Oct and there's a lot of great people on here and a very amicable community at that.
ash32678: There actually is no console but it was considered. I had to look at the photo 5 times to figure out what the hell it was and I realized it was actually the frame joint that locks the cockpit into place. The angle of the photo and light made it look like the rear Radar Intercept Console- I might have to try it!
Grippen, CornDAWWWG the NINJA, Sparks007, Sgt Major: I want to thank you all for your commentary on my work, if I had to sit face to face with the Toy Companies, this is my way of saying, dude...check out the POSSIBILITIES!! You guys can really pimp out your toys! - Again THANKS! The dream of owning a Skystriker realized - When I was 9 yrs old, I would have never imagined hacking one in the future, much less OWNING one.
esg2145 I'm just as surprised as you are... There were several near disasters...one the plane fell and nearly broke...and during the paint process, the black started spattering out of the can due to the cold temperature so lots of "Fire Control" if you will to salvage the problems. This project turned out better than I ever imagined.
GeneralHawk Brice B hit it on target...he is right, it is the current VF-103 (formerly VF-84) World Famous Jolly Rogers - Check this out for more (click on it): The "Jolly Rogers" Squadron: Past & Present a wealth of information and fun facts.
As some of you might have picked up on...the parts on this plane are snap-on / modular- This leaves room for future weapons / systems such as Different Bombs and the TARPS pod among others... I'll let you know...
I have a few more pics to follow which will definitely strike SHIN DENSETSU's interest...

These are 1/48 - 1/60th scale Toys from the Macross (Robotech in some a couple cases) Series... by Yamato Toys parked next to Bombcat... Family Resemblance? Maybe... (and who can guess which plane influence the design of the Third Gray Plane from the left???)
