Figures 30th Sgt. Slaughter by ceraurus

This is a very basic custom--one that we'll see a lot--and my first using a Retaliation figure! I wanted to do this because I don't have an SDCC exclusive that I'm willing to open. The lack of foot articulation is annoying, but so far I have had a hard time finding a good replacement. At some point I might just cuts the boots off and glue on replacements, but most that I have are a little too small.

I didn't modify the pants much, but I may change that later.

- hands: RoC Sgt. Stone

Was any painting needed at all?

Did you have to paint his skin?

Anyway, that fiure looks awesome........

Yes, painting was necessary. Although it wasn't too far off, the skin tones did not match closely enough for me. I also had to lower the head a little.

nice work!! I am going to do the same thing when I can get my hands on a retaliation Roadblock. are those upper legs the same as the poc iron grenadier? they look very similar but it is hard to tell from pics.
