I have been repainting Joes and other Figures for a few years now but I have never really documented them until now. A friend lent me his camera tripod so i snapped the first of many custom pics to come.
First off is TF flint. I missed out on the regular Flint so I decided i would repaint the TF version to resemble is everyday counterpart. I decided to go with a MultiCam style camouflage on his pants. |

Second is the Comic 2-pack Cobra Commander. I love this figure but hated the gold accessories. So i gave his belt and Sword sheath and leathery style paint job. I also dry brushed the metal components of his gear like the chain on his cape and belt. i painted his .44 automag chrome with black grips since this appears to be his ceremonial get up and he deserves a shiny large caliber handgun.

Nice work, man! That Cobra Commander is fantastic! I really love the subtle details you put in to each piece.

Great job on both. I think I might do that with flint even though I have the wave 1 figure, I prefer the tiger force arms.

Uh, Its a 3 year old Sony 5 mega pixel. I don't know the model number but the Tripod and Macro mode are the key to good pics. I just got the tripod yesterday so that's why I'm just getting around to snapping pics. |
