I previewed this guy previously, but here is a post of his own. Knighthawk is a high ranking field operative in a new organization, code named EXCAL. I can give the details if anyone's interested.
This figure has a BBI Seal/Paratrooper head, that I cut down, drilled and filled, then painted up to have proper flesh tones, and to fit the 25A style. He has Firefly legs, Snake Eyes torso (w/ v3 Snake Eyes Knees), Storm Trooper lower arms, Stalker Feet, sculpted collar, sculpted beret, and water slide decals. The best part for me on the parts choices is that he is 100% playable, as the part choices allowed me to put him together without painting a single joint. The last photo is the concept picture I put together (using paintbrush and The Hero Machine's cool website). Last edited by Dr. Bindy; 12-15-2018 at 10:27 PM.. |

How well do the stormtrooper arms mesh with the joe ones?
Looks great overall. Love the weaponry and gear. |

I used the comic pack stormtrooper arms (the one with the bald guy and the alien disguised as troopers), and those fit PERFECTLY with the Snake Eyes upper arms. And since I used the all black version of SE, the paint on the elbow is seamless with the paint on the upper arm. The lower arms are identical in length as well, and I did not have to modify the peg at all. The only thing that took getting used to was the angle of the hands, as compared to the angle of the hands on the Joes.
I made a similar mod using Clone Trooper lower arms (from one of the Order 66 two packs), and those were a bit shorter, but were a very nice match for a female's armored arms, and they fit perfect into the Lady Jaye uppers. |

That's great! I always like to see the creativity that goes into original characters. This guy works great and looks just like that HeroMachine rendering.

I'm honestly not sure. I'll check to see if I have the parts to test it out for you when I get home. The only problem I'd see is that the elbow on the trooper arm is textured like a black cloth under garmant, and it would be connecting in to a bare Stormy upper arm - but that may be part of the look you are going for.

Crap, you're right.
This is the body I'm using: I could sand down the upper sleeve to make it flush and just paint the flesh the same color I'm going for...but I'm lazy...buuuut I wanna go all out on this custom...so maybe. Thanks Dre |
