I received about a month ago from a tanker some custom gliders that needed backpacks to stay on. Every backpack I tried figure kept dropping so I came up with a substitute for a backpack so the pilot-gliders stay on

Sweet1 do these birds fly like the originals did? I ask becasue they look a little smaller than I remember and the material looked different. Also- man, Grunt has gotten butthugly over the years! What's up with that head sculpt? Looks like he got a bee sting on each cheek with an allergic reaction!

Cool! During the Christmas break I may try to make one that flys based on the scans from YoJoe.

Very Cool! I have thought about doing something like this if I only got off my butt and tried. They'd be a little better just a little larger. Maybe print out on full page stickers and stick on 1/8" foam. Still wouldn't be large enough to fly with a figure on them but would look like the ones in the cartoons. Getting one to fly would be awesome though

I have seen some small mylar mini kites/gliders that might work as joe gliders. I haven't tried that yet.

I got 2 sets of these, I still need to cut them out. But I do look forward to displaying them. I think they are sized well and will look nice hanging up.
