Hey all,
I always liked Falcon. He's obviously meant to be a representation of the Vietnam era Green Beret advisors and the more realistically designed Joes always apealed to me. He was released when I was already in high school so I never had the original as a child, but purchased him later as a collector. I was always a big fan of his character in the comic, but was REALLY disappointed with his portayal in the cartoon (I'm actually not a fan of "GI Joe: The Movie" at all). Anyway, when the modern era figure was released I was terribly disappointed and went to work right away to fix him. I used Tiger Force flint arms, hands from the Indiana Jones Russian Colonel, and General hawk's head. Truthfully, since I have no interest in Nemesis Enforcer (or whatever his name is) I had thought about not purchasing the Falcon at all and just using Red Star's body (another lame figure IMO) for the bulk of the figure, but his accessories are so cool I had to get them. The pleasant suprise was that Nemisis turned out to be a pretty cool figure! I took some liberties with the Camo pattern, so he's not 100% accurate, but I was never a fan of tiger stripe camo. Anyway, criticism is welcome. Thanks for looking. |

I don't have a tutorial prepared, but he's really pretty straightforward. I don't have any wip photos, but when I get some time I'll throw together a text explanation.
