[QUOTE=Driftbot;317600]you know what all these arctic HISSeses are missing?
TRANSPARENT BLUE CANOPY! my kingdom to the first one who does this. i think its one of the things that really says "ARCTIC" about a joe vehicle. you could use blue cellophane, or transparent blue spraypaint. DOO EEEET!!!!QUOTE] That was the original plan!!! But I couldn't find anything to make it work. I have a blue light for the light in the front of the HISS though... |

about the arctic blue canopy...at hobby lobby or any craft or hobby store you can pick up translucent paint. That would look ultimate!

That's an excellent tip! I was planning to have a flourescent orange canopy for my own HISS (don't ask) and cellophane was my first option. I would love to locate a translucent paint instead.

I like it! Simple, clean and excellent use of parts. Well done! The only thing that would have put it over the top with the MIB shot would have been an artic background!

i used a translucent green paint on the goggles for my scuba shippy and it worked great, although, they were very small...not sure about the bigger pieces...
