I think Aly is just saying that he could help make an already very nice cast even better...molding is a tough process to master and the mold lines can hurt an attractive sculpt if the wind up in the wrong place.

Yes Swafus, it is. Smells like someone is getting snarky, without reading what was said and the offer that was made to help out.
Since I do this for a living I do believe I have the onus to point out issues in the procedure if it will help make better parts. Last edited by Alyosha; 08-23-2008 at 08:19 PM.. |

Also I used to respect you for turning your hobby into a business, but not any more. (don't worry I have no interest in turning my hobby into a chore) If anyone is interested in getting a cast, I'm not selling. But I will send you one if you sell me one of the many loose 25th Joes I still need. PM me. Ryan |

So, just to be clear "let me know what you think" means "say only good things because my work is perfect and I just want admiration." Great.
What Alyosha said was NOT that bad. He offered help. He does do this for a living.

Point taken Iriad, But seeing as he DOES do this for a living and comes out swinging, It's quite telling. Ryan
