Wow!! Thanks for the huge response everyone. I was not expecting front page either. I am pumped that there is a lot of interest in doing some type of Hisstank.com Exclusive and I just want to be a part of it. I did the black version (Shadow Unit?? Sounds cool) as a test. That led to me want to do a more accurate Rip It, although I think more people like the black one. Let me see if I can address some comments….

WOW!! Rip-It turned out nice. The red worked really good on him and I titally forgot about the vintige style fig of him. I actually had an idea for a Rip It custom that was all black cause of the mass produced blue one that comes with the HISS. I wanted him to be different. I was gonna go all black w/ dark blue highlights but now I see how an all black one looks. Very good job.
And on a side note, I was going to give him a custom HISS tank too. I was going to get this one: YOJOE.COM | Cobra H.I.S.S. I was going to paint a face on the side similar to the Target Night Spectre SHARC. Quote:
Nice. I've been talking with madcrazyloco, and he did a great job on the card art as well.
The figure may be a bit too monochromatic, but it sort of reminds me of how the old Snake Eyes or Baroness figures were... An almost creepy black. Would be a hell of a lot easier to clean jumpsuit, for the Cobra Laundry-Vipers! Cobra Stickers.com! They are amazing!! |

very interesting... i had not thought of dye for coloring the figure. has anyone used "rit" dye on joe figures before? for durability, dyeing it black and painting the highlights would seem to be the best solution.
example artical for doing this with rc plastics
