Hey CC, not to jack another thread... haha... but I just assembled my Slaughter, minus the Dark5cythe head/kit...
Since I used Rock & Roll's head for Monkeywrench, I had an extra set of "Duke" legs (from R&R) and didn't want to open another figure just for 2 body parts... The kneecaps on Duke's legs seem to be slightly smaller than on Hawk's, and I like Hawk's boots just slightly better, but what made you go with Hawk's lower legs versus Duke boots? Just curious, was it the knees not matching up to the Serpentor thighs? There's a bit of gap above the knee that Serpentor's knee guards hides, but shows up a bit much on "Sarge's" knees once they're all combined. It's a great formula, I need to get the D5 head so I can ship this bugger off to G.I. Eddie and have him clone your Sarge for me! One more thing I noticed... the Roadblock neck makes most other heads sit really low, did you find this same problem? Does the D5 head do that too? I don't have an open Gung Ho with me right now, so I can't test his head, but Bakooka's head sat REALLY low, as if he had no neck... Looked goofy. |

Really great job! Awesome custom! Always loved the character and the figure does him justice. Always saw him as a D list wrestler who became an A list Joe.

Also, your parts should be arriving monday or tuesday, as they were sent out last week. The head shouldnt sit far down on the neck. the chin should rest right above or on the adams apple. |

This Build-a-Slaughter is expensive, with all the parts! Can't wait to get the head from you and ship this sucker off to G.I. Eddie to paint it... BTW, Dark 5cythe, check your PMs... Thanks! |

does no one notice his lower arms are just TOO big? I just dont get why everyone likes this recipe lol. I realize its accurate to the character. but its no proportionate at all lol. and using hawk feet gives him small feet.

There's answers to your question throughout the thread... None of them by me, but here goes, it's G.I. Eddie's/Cobra Collector's/Dark Scythe's handywork, I'm just replicating it because I loved it so much:
Head: Gung Ho (with hat/glasses from Dark 5cythe - see above post by him for contact) but D5 makes his own head, and extra kit... PM him, he's a great guy and sells the kits... For the body... Copperhead: torso, upper arms Bazooka: lower arms, belt (you can use V2 Roadblock's belt too, apparently) Serpentor: upper legs/thighs Hawk v2 (or Duke, but as you can see above, Hawk's are more accurate): lower legs/boots/knees The Bazooka arms give him a slight Gorilla-ness, but the arm bands and the beefiness are spot on... I see Sarge as a bit hulking, so it works for me... I assume you could use Flint arms if you wanted him gloved, or some other variation of lower arms... |

I do like the recipe though, it has it's flaws, but Hasbro should give us the real thing so we don't have to make it from their existing parts! |
