Vehicles POC Spectre AC-130 Gunship

Thought I'd post some pics of my custom TRU True Heroes AB-115 Tiburon aka the Joe's new AC-130 Spectre gunship!

I debated painting it, but decided instead to make some custom stickers. I'm happy with the results, and see it fitting in more with POC and the 30th line than the old ARAH figures and comics (an OD green and brown camo would better represent that old C-130 the Joes got flown around in).

I got some cool AC-130 Spectre graphics online from various sites, printed on clear Avery label paper on a color laser jet printer then applied on the front fuselage and tail. I also did some star and bars in grey for the rear side fuselage.

I got the idea of putting crossed out Cobra "kills" based on a Spectre that had camels for kills in Iraq.

Finished her off with a black Joe logo (low viz?) where Air Force would normally be written.

As you can tell, I'm having a blast setting up my Joes inside this beast!

I mounted a red bike light in the recess above the ramp to get the night op effect.

I plan to upgrade the guns with those black rubber washers to seal the gun ports.

Sweet. I keep putting off getting one. Definitely a must have at some point though.

I'm contemplating getting another one to make a custom Cobra gunship for the Para-Vipers. The red snake head version from the cartoon would be cool.

I'm thinking a midnight blue color with all kinds of custom Cobra air command logos.

Next time TRU has a BOGO I'll pick another one up, along with the sweet AH-64 Longbow chopper.

i like this...keep seeing it and contemplating on one for myself...urs is really nice...red light inside is cool...

and that AH-64 Longbow chopper is a must have that i still did not pick up yet either.
