One of my favorite Joe's has always been Spirit. Freakin' love that character. I decided my collection needed another Native American badass on the Joe roster. So I created Akando, which means "ambush" in the Iroquois language. Awesome name, right? I thought so.
He's a northern wilderness survivalist, with exceptional hunting, sniping, and tracking skills. However he's very adept at close quarters combat with his custom sawed-off shotgun. Also because of his monstrous physique and physical prowess, he's very deadly in hand-to-hand situations. You will never see Akando without that intimidating looking staff. But it's actually a ceremonial heirloom passed down from his ancestors, and not so much a weapon. To Akando, it's not only a good luck charm, but also a great walking stick.

Yeah you know what... this guy doesn't look half bad. It's hard for me to fit him into my "Joe-verse" but this is a nice custom.
Did you use a Resolute Scarlett hair for his look?

Here's the parts list in case you're interested:
head - desert Zartan hair - Resolute Scarlett upper body & upper arms - POC Recondo forearms & hands - 25th Spirit legs & feet - 25th Spirit loin cloth - SW Starkiller Jedi robe outfit shotgun holster - random fodder goggles - random fodder bandolier - SW Mandalorian warrior (i think) rifle - POC recondo sheepskin tunic - SW random reptillian guy wooden staff - craft store ogre figurine stone dagger - Thor movie Loki overall I'm pleased with how it came out. the biggest issue is clearly the neck on that Recondo body, and how it forces the head down. I hate that. but the muscled t-shirt look in the chest and arms is why I chose it. thanks for lookin. . .

There's something about that looking down and not making eye contact or hardly even noticing you - while still kicking your ass - vibe, that really works for this guy.
If you told me Scarlett hair on a zartan head going in, I'd have said 'nahhh won't work'. But it does. Nice job.

With bisceps like that, he must get laid all the time.
Nice work, great name, I would've named him curahee though.

looks cool! funny how that hair looks good on a male figure, or maybe not since the females are so manly looking to begin with...good stuff.

Wow, I just finished looking through your other customs and was thoroughly impressed. In fact, I was inspired to do another file card for Akando so I hope you don't mind me adding a little to his backstory. Enjoy.
