Awesome work.
I have been following you work on Joecustoms for years, even before the ME era.

Cobra-La I saw the notification pop up for this thread and thought it was an old alert!
Thanks Soundwave84,uberthawk,GI Flow,Agent11b,Destro's Son,cav17scout, for all of your comments! Ford -I thought they did a pretty solid job with that Psyche-Out too (really like the head sculpt). I get the feeling that there are big time fans with long histories in the hobby working on many of these figures. For my version I had wanted to add some edge but also modernize the look a bit, since in the 80's he was pretty off the wall but with today's gear and uniforms it can be made to work a bit easier. revsears- thanks as I'm getting into some of the later year joes I'm trying to find ways of updating them instead of trying to capture the original figure perfectly. With Downtown his helmet was something I wanted to change and this seemed to be a cool and sleek way of going about it. With my upcoming Battleforce 2000 customs as well as Capt. Grid Iron I've tried to follow the basic look but also update them and remove some of the elements that even today still seem "out there". Jinx723-Thank you for that, I appreciate you following what I've been doing for all of this time. The JvsC stuff was fun and most of the customs were what I would have liked to have seen from Hasbro at that time. Also a huge portion of what I was doing back then was fixing proportions of the figures. With the ME of stuff they have done a really solid job of nailing proportions so that most of the time I put into a custom can be on the more creative side of things instead of repairing things to what looks right to me.

Great work on all of them, my fav is Blackout! What do you use to create the shadows and tones on the flesh? They look so real. Psyche-out just needs his headset.
