Part of G.I. Joe Driver Series that I waited too late to post in custom contest. I volunteered to do a commission for Hisstank member MeGrimlock79 of Rolling Thunder Driver Armadillo. As you can see from the source material, I tried to incorporate some of the original elements notably the helmet, tank top, bandoleer of bullets, belt buckle, and green boots but updated and overhauled for the 25th style. I gave him a little more of a "western" motif simply based on the belt buckle & code name...plus he was from AZ. I am really pleased at how he turned out. Enjoy.

Nice work. I never noticed the absence of the bandoleer from the original figure... of course I never paid much mind to Armadillo.

Thanks guys! He was a challenge to update and fun to make...I mean come on, that RAH needed a serious makeover. MeGrimlock79's payment to me is to post some photos of the Rolling Thunder with Armadillo at the helm!
