i've always quite disliked the Sarge, but i have to say this is a fantastic and dead-accurate version. you do some fine, fine work, my friend.

I really like almost everything about the figure except the hat.
It looks beautifully painted, and beautifully photographed. The Indy hat has that distinctive fedora look to it. I always think of that flat hat of a drill sergeant. If it works for you that's the main thing. Maybe Sgt. Slaughter is more interested in Adventure Archaeology these days. |

It looks awesome, except the hat really sticks out like a sore thumb(as stated before), and to be honest it really ruins the overall look of the figure for me. It looks too much like a fedora and is very out of place. But the head sculpt is fantastic as is the body and paint job on the pants. Keep up the good work.

i'll admit that i'm no expert haberdasher, but i didn't even notice that it was an Indy fedora as opposed to Sarge's normal hat. it doesn't bother me in the least.

looks like you've gone form ML to Joes! then again, with no new ML's, what else is there?
i agree about the fedora looking out of place. also the sunglasses being round makes him look... surprised? need to make them flat on the top. aviator style. another guy here was doing a slaughter custom and i recomended using the clear plastic from the card bubbles, painting the inside silver so it had a nice shine when you put them on. might be worth a shot? still nice work. you are making a hell of a rep for yourself in the joe customs community. you're really cranking them out!
