okay... so nobody really likes it when hasbro releases repaints of figures. However, that's the bread & butter of my customizing, and i am currently working on a team of Cobra Arctic troopers to go with the Ice Viper i made recently. these are, of course, mostly repaints with a bit of part swapping. I plan to add Tomax, Xamot, Destro, Cobra Commander, and HISS tank to these. here is what I have done so far. i haven't put on a sealer yet, and i may do a bit of touch-up work, but they are mostly finished.

Those are fantastic! I always loved the winter figures. I may have to do some work like this of my own. I agree about the repaints - doesn't bother me so much, and it can actually make a figure look entirely new. What do you use for a sealer?

K. Cool, I did'nt want to post pics unless you were OK with it, I'm not a big fan of custom threads hijacked by other peoples customs so just wanted to be cool about it ;)
So this was done in 2003 I think ? I was experimenting/practicing and wanted to make one before I took a serious shot at it but moved not long after and never got back to the project... :( It currently sits in storage somewhere. The SnowSerpent driver was a not so mint one(easy to find on eBay) you have to grind the sides of his legs down a little. Some areas turned out great, others look sloppy, enjoy ... Thanks !
